PLANNED PARENTHOOD BEING INVESTIGATED FOR USE OF TAXPAYER FUNDS IN POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS.
Pending NH budget triples funding.

(Concord, NH): New Hampshire Right to Life (NHRTL) has become aware that the NH Department of Justice’s Election Law Unit is actively investigating Planned Parenthood of Northern England (PPNNE) over an election law complaint. In that complaint, NHRTL found evidence through public records requests that PPNNE may have illegally used funds from their non-profit arm (which receives taxpayer funds) to support political candidates. This is especially relevant to NH right now, as the budget pending in the legislature almost triples the funding NH taxpayers are forced to give to PPNNE.
Given the evidence that PPNNE routed their non-profit funds into political campaigns, giving them *more* taxpayer money is an especially bad idea!
NHRTL calls on the legislature and governor to cease allocating PPNNE *any* taxpayer dollars while they are under active investigation.
“NH taxpayers should never be forced to support organizations that are hostile towards the most innocent persons in our society, and definitely shouldn’t be forced to subsidize abortion-friendly political campaigns!” said Kurt Wuelper, Chairman of NHRTL’s Political Committee.
