Two more hearings concerning Life issues will be on Tuesday, February 7. NHRTL asks for your support!

Tuesday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m. in LOB 205
HB 471 – This bill would require the department of health and human services to publish an annual report consisting of an aggregate statistical summary of all induced terminations of pregnancy performed in New Hampshire. This report shall be available to the public, but the data submitted by the providers shall be for statistical purposes only and will provide total anonymity for the birth mother. Please contact the Health and Human Services Committee

Tuesday, February 7 at 2:30 p.m. in LOB 204
HB 156-FN – This is a fetal homicide bill that provides that a fetus shall be included in the definition of “another” for the purpose of first and second degree murder, manslaughter, negligent homicide, and causing or aiding suicide. “Fetus” means an unborn offspring, from the embryo stage which is the end of the eighth week after conception or, in the case of in vitro fertilization, the end of the eighth week after implantation, until birth. This bill will offer families true justice and closure in the case of a pre-born (eight weeks or older) killed during a criminal offense. The ACLU is going to be protesting HB 156, so we need
you to come and support this bill if at all possible. Please contact the House Criminal Justice Committee

The Legislative Office Building is located on State Street in Concord, behind the State House.

NH Right to Life supports both of these bills, and we encourage you to contact each committee and voice your support as well.
