- Baby weighs less than 1 ounce and measures about 3 inches from head to heel.
- Baby practices facial expressions: yawning, squinting, grimacing, furrowing / wrinkling the brow.
- Nerve and muscle connections have tripled.
- Baby makes a fist around objects placed in palm (such as the umbilical cord).
