Annual NHRTL Members Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Right To Life Committee of New Hampshire will be held on Friday November 10, 2017, at 7:30 PM, at 8 N. Main St., Suite 8, Concord NH.

The following proposed amendments to the Right To Life Committee of New Hampshire Bylaws, as recommended by the Board of Trustees at the 8/11/17 Trustees meeting, will be voted on:

  • (1) In Article III, Section 1, add “defenseless”, before “human life”.
  • (2) In Article III, Section 1, change “conception”, to “fertilization”.
  • (3) In Article III, Section 1, change “as adopted by March for Life”, to “as it relates to abortion, abortifacient contraception, in vitro fertilization, suicide, assisted suicide, euthanasia, and experimentation on the human genome”.
  • (4) In Article V, Section 1, add at the end, “Membership in this organization will be defined by a monetary donation or volunteered time as certified by a sitting board member during the previous twelve (12) months.”
  • (5) In Article VI, Section 2, add at the end, “after being nominated by a voting member and approved by the majority of the current board of trustees”.
  • (6) In Article VI, Section 4, add at the end, “All Trustees shall participate on at least one standing committee as listed in the Article 10 section of the bylaws”.
  • (7) In Article VII, in Section 1 and Section 2, change “will” to “may”.
  • (8) In Article VII, Section 1, change “the annual meeting and all regular”, to “orderly”.
  • (9) In Article VII, Section 3, add at the end, “For the Annual Meeting or special meeting, a quorum shall consist of at least ten (10) trustees”.
  • (10) In article VII, Section 4, change the first instance of “voting members” to “board of trustees”, and the second instance of “voting members” to “trustees”.
